Our Super-Duplex Steel Threaded Hex Nipples are precision-manufactured connectors designed for critical piping systems where failure is not an option. Available in two premium grades-2205 (Standard Duplex) and 2507 (Super Duplex)-these fittings leverage an advanced metallurgical structure to deliver unmatched strength and corrosion resistance. • Material Standards: UNS S32205 / S31803 (2205) | UNS S32750 (2507). Compliant with ASTM A182 for forged fittings.

• Pressure Rating: Pressure class ratings (e.g., 3000#, 6000# , 10000#) vary by size and material grade. Please consult our engineering datasheets for specific values.

• Heat Treatment: All fittings are supplied in the solution-annealed and quenched condition (per ASTM A182) to ensure optimal phase balance and corrosion resistance

• Inspection & Certification: Supplied with full Material Test Reports (MTRs) tracing to the original melt. Compliant with, ASTM, ASME, and other international standards.

Product Parameters

These hex nipples are forged from duplex stainless steels, which feature a unique microstructure consisting of roughly equal parts austenite and ferrite phases
. This dual-phase structure synergistically combines the best properties of both: the high strength and stress corrosion cracking resistance of ferritic steels with the toughness and weldability of austenitic steels

The chemical composition is precisely controlled to optimize performance. Key alloying elements include Chromium (Cr) for passive oxide layer formation, Molybdenum (Mo) and Nitrogen (N) for enhanced pitting and crevice corrosion resistance
